Introduction

The Locale Sync plugin enhances the locale feature of Framer sites by adding portability and scalability. It uses the international standard format XLIFF to export or import text content externally. This allows for more flexible management of multilingual translations both inside and outside of Framer.

Main Features

Export and Import Locales with XLIFF Files

You can export your site's text content and existing translation data in XLIFF format, make edits, and then import them back.

Compatible with External Translation Tools

XLIFF files can be used with widely adopted localization platforms or translation management systems (TMS) like Phrase and Lokalise.

Supports Automatic Updates

When you re-import the edited file, changes are automatically reflected on your Framer site.

Open Source Based

Locale Sync is developed as open source and can serve as a foundation for various localization tools. You can also check the source code in the Framer Plugins repository on GitHub.
