Enterprise True-Up
Framer's Enterprise billing ensures flexibility and transparency in managing paid seats, sites, and add-on services.
Enterprise Plan Billing
On the Enterprise plan, contact the primary account representative (e.g., billing representative) directly to verify the number of billable seats and sites. This plan operates on an annual subscription basis, with True-Up occurring every two months. True-Up adjusts the contract for any additional paid seats, sites, locales, and other add-ons added during the year.
True-Up is calculated on an organization-wide basis, including all workspaces, users, and sites within the organization. For more details, refer to Framer's Organizations documentation.
Billable Items on Enterprise Plan
Paid Seats: Editors and Admins
Free Seats: Viewers (Can be added without limit and incur no cost)
Sites: Projects set with custom domains or reverse proxies
Additional charges may apply for exceeding contract limits, including locales and form submissions. Learn how to move site plans between projects.

Flexibility of the Enterprise Plan
The Enterprise plan operates in the following ways:
Pre-purchase a certain number of paid seats and sites with annual contracts.
Add paid seats or sites at any time.
If a Viewer is upgraded to an Editor in a project or workspace, the seat automatically becomes a paid seat. The upgraded user can use Framer for free until the next True-Up (bi-monthly addition review), ensuring seamless team collaboration and reduced average cost per seat.During the True-Up period, decide whether to retain the additional Editor seats and pay a proportionate fee, or downgrade back to Viewer (free).
Note
: To prevent unexpected increases in paid seats, it is advised to assign new users as Viewers by default. In the Enterprise plan, new users are added as Viewers by default. If needed, the default for new users can be changed to Editor in the settings.
True-Up Schedule
Billing every two months
If overages are detected, Framer notifies the designated representative via email or Slack
After the notification, a two-week review and adjustment period is given, after which charges are finalized
An email/Slack message is sent organizing billable seats and sites after the last billing date
Additional reminders are provided a week and three days before the True-Up deadline
Managing Users during True-Up
During the two-week True-Up period, administrators can do the following:
Review the current list of paid seats
Downgrade users who no longer require paid seats
Check and confirm final invoice amounts
Reviewing Paid Seats during True-Up
Additional paid seats and sites added during the billing period are only billed after administrators (or designated representatives) review invoices during the True-Up period.
Downgrading Users and Sites
Note: To downgrade sites during True-Up or renewal, you must remove custom domains from the project. Even if you redirect DNS records or move pages to another project, the site will still be considered active unless the custom domain is removed.
Usage Confirmation Step
After reviewing and adjusting seats and sites, the designated representative must verify the updated contract.
Proportionate fees will be added to the next billing cycle.
After confirmation, additional seats or sites are included in the next True-Up.
Payment
Payment for True-Up is conducted as specified in the Enterprise agreement.
To include a purchase order (PO) on the invoice, submit it to the account management team.
Framer issues a single invoice for each True-Up.
For inquiries about the True-Up process, contact your account manager via email or Slack channel.
