How to Transfer a Project to Someone Else
Open the project you want to transfer.
Click the Framer logo in the top navigation bar.
Select File →
Transfer Project
.Enter the recipient’s email address.
Uncheck the box if you don’t want to remain as an editor after the transfer.
Click the “Transfer” button.
Note
: Once the recipient accepts the transfer, the existing subscription is canceled, and the remaining period is credited to your account.

How to Accept a Project Transfer
You will receive an email to accept the transfer.
Click the link in the email and log into or sign up for Framer.
Click the “Confirm Transfer” button.
The project is successfully added to your account.
Note
: If the project is using paid features (e.g., custom domain, multilingual support), you will be prompted to subscribe to a plan.
Additional Helpful Information
The domain connection remains intact during transfer, ensuring the client site continues operating without interruption.
Any changes to the subscription plan or payment responsibility must be directly managed by the client after accepting the project.
