What has changed?

Framer has introduced dedicated IP addresses managed internally, instead of using shared IPs as previously. This change offers the following benefits:

  • Faster and more stable connections

  • Minimized security warnings from past usage history

  • Ability to respond quickly even in emergencies

Note: Currently, this change only applies to Framer Enterprise plan users.

How to change DNS settings

Follow the steps below on the DNS setting screen of the hosting service where you purchased your domain (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.).

1. Add new A records

Add the following two A records.

  • 31.43.160.19

  • 31.43.161.19

새로운 A 레코드를 추가하는 방법을 설명합니다.

Note: Do not delete the existing A records yet.

Verification process

  1. Visit dnschecker.org

  2. Enter your domain and check A Record

  3. Make sure that a total of 4 Framer IPs are displayed in all regions

  • If you see green check marks in all regions, you're good to go.

  • If you see an X or different results across regions, wait some time and check again.

Note: DNS changes typically take several hours to take effect, and sometimes up to 24 hours.

2. Remove existing A records

If there are no issues in the above DNS check, delete all existing Framer A records.

  • Now, only the two new IPs added above remain as configured A records.

  • Your site will continue to operate normally, and DNS changes can take up to 24 hours.
