Getting Started with Dub

Dub is an affiliate tracking tool available through Framer's official creator program. It streamlines the management of referral links, revenue tracking, and payouts all from the Creator Dashboard.

Dub's main goal is to help creators manage affiliate activities more intuitively and efficiently. Its biggest advantage is the ability to closely monitor and analyze revenue flows without complex procedures.

Why Use Dub

Dub offers several benefits to help creators maximize their affiliate activities.

• Monitoring sign-ups/conversions through affiliate links

• Easily check the status of accumulated commissions and payouts

• Understand performance more deeply with Advanced Analytics

While most activities (link creation, revenue tracking, etc.) occur in the Creator Dashboard, Dub enhances this process by offering additional detailed analytics and reports.

Payout Methods

Everyone is curious about when and how they will get paid. Dub provides payouts in the following manner:

• Payout Schedule: Commissions incurred 2 months ago are paid monthly

• Minimum Payout Threshold: At least $200

• Input of Payout Information: Entering payment information in Dub helps prevent delays

Understanding Pending Conversions

When someone upgrades to a paid plan through your link, the conversion initially appears as Pending.

The pending period lasts for 30 days, and if no refunds are issued during this time, the revenue is confirmed (Confirmed). Note that if the referred user cancels within the first year, the commission might be adjusted.

Stages of Payouts in Dub

Dub categorizes payouts into three stages. This helps you clearly know your current payout stage.

1. Pending: State in which commissions are incurred and accumulated; eligibility for payout when the total amount exceeds $200

2. Processing: State where the payout process begins; usually takes about 4 business days, followed by automatic deposit

3. Completed: The payout has been completed and deposited into your bank account

Countries Without Tax Support

If you're a creator earning revenue, you must understand tax issues. Framer does not withhold taxes, so each individual must report and pay according to the regulations of their residing country.

Countries Not Supported by Stripe Payments

If you're in a non-supported country, consider setting up a US-based LLC as an alternative to receive payments in USD.

Additionally, consider opening a Stripe-linked account using services like Wise. However, these options may vary based on circumstances, so consulting a financial expert is safest.

Transition to Dub

The previously used FirstPromoter system by Framer has moved to the Creator Dashboard.

• All new affiliate activities will henceforth be managed through Dub.

• Existing data and pending payouts from FirstPromoter remain accessible and processable for reference.
